HAB LICENCE AGREEMENT Last updated: 3 November 2026 Seller: Habpal Ventures LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. Business address: 3008 Elmhurst, Royal Oak, MI 48073, contact: hab.aisupport@gmail.com By installing or using HAB you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't install it. 1. WHAT YOU GET HAB is software you run on your own computer. Your licence key lets you install and use one copy of HAB on one PC, for you and the people in your household or group you add to it. You may also install HAB as a "helper PC" on other computers you own, to lend their graphics cards to your HAB. 2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO - Share, sell, rent or publish your licence key, or use it on more than one main PC. - Remove or get around the licence check, or copy HAB for others (except as these terms allow). - Use HAB to break the law, to harm, harass, spy on or deceive anyone, to make illegal content, or to break the rules of the AI models you use with it (see THIRD_PARTY.txt), including their acceptable use policies. 2a. NO TOLERANCE FOR HARMFUL CONTENT OR ABUSE There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not use HAB to make, ask for or share sexual content involving minors, content that sexualises anyone without consent, hateful, harassing or violent content aimed at people, or content that helps anyone cause serious harm. Deliberately trying to get around HAB's safety rules ("jailbreaking") freezes HAB until the owner (or an admin the owner allowed) unlocks it with the lockdown password, and the owner can remove an account that misuses HAB. Anyone can report a reply with "Report this reply" (the ... button under it); reports go to the owner of that HAB, who should act on them promptly. 3. AI ANSWERS ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE HAB's answers come from AI models. They can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Nothing HAB says is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Check anything important with a qualified person. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. If you mention suicide or hurting yourself, HAB shows the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the US); it is not a crisis service itself. 3a. HAB IS AN AI, ALSO WHEN HE'S SWEET ON YOU HAB is an AI, not a person, and says so when asked. The optional Sweet & flirty personality is for adults (18+) only: it turns on after you confirm that you are 18 or older, that you understand HAB is an AI, and that the owner of your HAB can see your chats. HAB keeps it tasteful (never sexual or explicit), may decline, reminds you that he's an AI at the start of each such chat and every 3 hours, and never uses it with a child. 4. SMART-HOME CONTROL If you connect smart-home devices, you are responsible for which devices HAB may control. HAB asks for a typed "yes" before risky actions (locks, garage doors, alarms, heating), but you must not rely on HAB for safety or security. 5. CHILDREN HAB is for adults. You must be 18 or older to make an account or use HAB, and you must not let children use your account or your copy of HAB. 6. OTHER SOFTWARE AND SERVICES HAB uses other software (listed in THIRD_PARTY.txt), each under its own licence. If you connect an online or rented AI service, that service's own terms and privacy policy apply to what you send it. 6a. HAB PLUS (SUBSCRIPTION) - What it is: HAB Plus adds HAB Brain (a bigger online AI brain, a monthly allowance of up to 2,000 short messages; long chats use more; used only for the people in your home who agree to online AI) and lets you build as many of your own tools as you like. It adds onto HAB Home. HAB Home (free) keeps working without it, and the tools you made without Plus stay yours. - Price: $5.99 a month, paid through PayPal. If you live in Michigan, 6% Michigan sales tax is added on top ($5.99 + 6% = $6.35 a month); PayPal shows the full amount before you agree. Yearly plans are not offered at the moment. - Free trial: new subscribers get 14 days free, and the trial includes 100 HAB Brain messages. You are not charged if you cancel before the trial ends. PayPal shows the date the first charge happens before you agree. - It renews automatically each month until you cancel. If a payment fails, paid features pause until PayPal collects it or you cancel. - Staying connected: paid features need your PC to reach habpal.com at least once every 90 days to confirm your plan. If it cannot for 90 days, paid features pause until it can; your data is untouched. - Cancelling: any time, in your PayPal account under Automatic payments (PayPal's menu names change), or email us and we will cancel it for you within 1 business day (Monday to Friday, US Eastern time, not counting US holidays). If you are charged after you asked us to cancel, we refund that charge. Plus keeps working until the end of the period you paid for; then your copy goes back to HAB Home. If you cancel during the free trial, paid features end when the trial ends. A refund, a payment reversal or a dispute ends the paid features at once. - Refunds: if a charge surprised you, email us within 14 days of it for a full refund of that charge. - Changes: if the price or what Plus includes changes, we tell you by email at least 30 days before, and you can cancel. - Fair use: HAB Brain's monthly allowance resets each month. Very long messages may be answered by your PC's own brain. 6b. HAB BUSINESS AND EVERYTHING (SUBSCRIPTIONS) - Availability: at the first launch only HAB Home and HAB Plus (monthly) are sold. These plans are described here for when they open. - What it is: HAB Business is everything in HAB Home plus the Business tab: a money log for each business, the profit split, money set aside for taxes, imported Etsy sales (with estimated fees and refunds), and jobs for workers with their own log-ins. Everything is HAB Business together with HAB Plus. - Price: HAB Business $9.99 a month; Everything $12.99 a month, paid through PayPal. Michigan buyers pay 6% Michigan sales tax on top. - Free trial, automatic renewal, cancelling, refunds and price changes work exactly as in 6a. - When it ends: the Business tab closes at the end of the period you paid for (a cancelled trial ends when the trial ends; a refund, reversal or dispute ends it at once). While your plan is off, the Business tab is closed but you can still export your records; they are not deleted. They stay on your PC and come back if you subscribe again. Everything else in HAB Home keeps working. - Records, not advice: the Business tab keeps records and estimates (for example Etsy fees and the money to set aside for taxes). It is not tax, legal or accounting advice; check your numbers with a tax professional. - Workers: HAB gives people you choose a limited log-in so they can follow your job instructions. HAB does not make anyone your employee or contractor, does not pay anyone, track hours or withhold tax, and does not collect tax forms. On the maker's copy HAB also keeps the owner's own contractor paperwork. Customer copies don't have this. Whether someone is an employee or an independent contractor, what you owe them and what you may record about their work are your responsibility. Tell your workers what HAB records about their work (their log-in, the jobs they run and any screenshots they add) before they start. Workers must be 18 or older. - Etsy fee figures are estimates and may differ from what Etsy charged. - Etsy is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. HAB is not made by, endorsed by or connected with Etsy. 6c. AGENT STORE (MAKER'S PREVIEW, NOT OFFERED TO CUSTOMERS YET) HAB's maker is testing an Agent store on the maker's own copy. It is not offered to customers: it is switched off on every customer copy, nothing can be bought or sold through it there, and these terms do not offer it. If it is ever offered, its terms will be added here first. 7. UPDATES HAB may offer updates. You choose when to install them. Updates are covered by these terms. 8. NO WARRANTY HAB is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. 9. LIMIT OF LIABILITY To the fullest extent the law allows, the seller is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or damage caused by AI answers or device control, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid for HAB. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited. 10. ENDING This licence ends if you break these terms. You can stop using HAB and delete it at any time. 11. LAW These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without giving up any consumer protection the law of the place where you live gives you.
